This robust tool (thickened core) with very wide flutes, SLZ type profile, self-centring and TiN coating, is especially suitable for continuous drilling, where chip evacuation and cutting edge lubrication create difficult working conditions, and in cases where the drilling depth is not greater than 3 x D. This is our highest performance tool, ideal for intensive manufacturing processes, we have more economical families such as the 100.40 series and the 100.30 series. Use on: Steel and cast steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, from 900 to 1200 N/mm² - Cr-Ni steels (some) – Ferritic and martensitic stainless steels – Acid-resistant steels – Spring steel – Hard cast irons: grey, malleable and nodular.
