This robust tool (thickened core) with very wide flutes is especially suitable for continuous and deep drilling, where chip evacuation and cutting edge lubrication create difficult working conditions. Use on: Steel and cast steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 1000 N/mm²-Grey cast iron–Malleable cast iron–Nodular cast iron–Die-cast iron–Sintered iron–Alpaca–Graphite–Red bronze for bearings–Aluminium, lead, manganese or silicon alloy bronzes–Tough, ductile (≥60% Cu), yellow, soft continuous-chip brass–Electrolytic copper–Zinc die-casting (Not recommended for Cr-Ni or similar steels).
